About Us

Civil engineering is a crucial discipline within the field of infrastructure, and it has a significant impact on our everyday lives. When it comes to highway design and construction, civil engineers are the professionals responsible for ensuring that the necessary infrastructure is in place to allow people and goods to move efficiently and safely from one place to another.

These skilled engineers work tirelessly to plan, design, and construct the roads and highways that make up our transportation networks. They draw upon their extensive knowledge of materials and construction technologies, along with their understanding of traffic flow, soil mechanics, and environmental impacts, to develop the most cost-effective and durable roadway designs that can withstand the wear and tear of everyday usage.

In addition to these technical aspects of the field, civil engineers also take into consideration the safety and comfort of all road users, including drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians. From the busiest highways to the smallest city streets, their work is essential to ensuring that our transportation infrastructure is reliable and functional, now and for generations to come.

UPDATE!

In January 2017, I was granted Life Membership with The Association of  Engineers & Geoscientists of British Columbia, and my registration status changed to “Retired”. As a result, I am now fully engaged in enjoying life with my wife, sons, and grandchildren! Engineering was great, but this is even better. (It was also fun teaching myself web page development, WordPress, Elementor, and all that cool stuff.)
